Cancellation Information

Cancellation of a booking of failure to join for group will result in retention of funds by NBB/Royal tour and Travel. If you will notify to the Company 30 days before departure 20% of the reservation of the cancelling party will be retained by NBB/Royal Tour and Travel and balance of the package price refunded. If cancellation will be between 20 days. the company will be cut 50% of the total amount which was been deposited to the company. If is between 15days to 10 days 100% cancellation penalty will apply to the cancellation party at that time NBB/Royal Tour and TRAVEL will be already payed and book for everything according to your package.

Day by Day

DAY 1

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to the Boma-Masai Garden at Bomang’ombe town 18.3 km for overnight right from the Airport.

DAY 2

At 8:00 Am after breakfast you will gate briefing from professional mount guide for an hour then at 9:00 AM you will start a journey to the Marangu gate on the Eastern side of Kilimanjaro for registration to the National Park and begin hiking at 11:00 Am. On the way you will see different types of birds Colobus monkeys and giant trees in this can be west/Raining most of the time so gaiters and trekking poles will help you, shorts and T-shirt should be sufficient, make sure rain gear and warmer clothing are in hand, you will stop at Mandara huts at 3:00 Pm, for Lunch rest and some coffee or some tea in 20 minutes then continuing with hiking to Maundicrater is good way to see the Surrounding Including Northern parts of Tanzania and Kenya. Dinner will be served early evening at 7:00 PM. Bathrooms in this route areavailable.

DAY 3

You will wake up at 7:00AM for breakfast and pack for your next trek. 8:00 AM hike for an hour passing to the rainforest glades, where you can look for giant lobelias and groundsels. Continue up into open moorlands where small shrubs are main vegetation. You will stop half way for Lunch and enjoy a wonderful views of Mawenzi, at 3:00 PM you will be arrive to Horombo huts, where you can see Kibo,s summits get Rest, unpack and prepare for dinner. Bath rooms with flowing water are available. You may start feel the effects of altitude here and acclimatization, here you can choose to spend an extra day resting at Horombo or continuing to climb to a base camp below kibo’s small peak Mawenzi.

DAY 4

Wake to breakfast as usual but if you wake up early can be able to get very nice photos for sunrise the first part of the day hike. Through then you can see the connection of Mawenzi and Kibo at the time you take Lunch, here is the place where you could feel and notice signs of altitude sickness. There is no running water at the Kibo Hunts.

DAY 5

You wake at midnight and get light breakfast then prepare for your summit. the goal of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is to reach at UHURU-PEAK after sunrise you leave at AM or possibly snow and reach Gilmas point on the crater rim at 5886/M This is Africans highest point and you have to be sure to have your picture taken at the summit to show your friends the wonderful God creation. After spending some time at the summit, back to the Kibo hunts have lunch rest, collect your things and start journey back up to Horombo huts. Eat dinner and get sleep.

DAY 6

Wake up and pack, continuing the journey of dropping back up to Mandara Hunts and Getting Lunch then continuing working back to the gate where you should reach around 3:30 PM Please these trekking is bit hard so that don’t forget to tip your porters, Guides, cook, because tipping is so much appreciated in African communities and also this is the last place to meet a crew you will be peak up with tour driver back to the hotel for getting rest and making muscle relaxation so as you can have a nice journey.
